Colour and Finish
Uma Paro is sheer (as the product label suggests), deep plum with, purple, pink and gold sparkles (obvious enough, but without being regarded as chunks of glitter). You can build the shade up to leave just enough colour just to even out any uneven pigmentation you might have on the lips. I love the multi-coloured sparkles, which adds interest to lips for grown-ups. ;-) It is a sophisticated sparkle! It has just enough gloss and shine.
At the moment, I've been loving wearing this on its own, but I can imagine this would look great paired with various shades of lipsticks to give many different looks. Can't wait to try!
Texture and Feel
The lip gloss has a thinner consistency than most glosses I'm used to (that's a great thing!). It's very smooth, non-sticky, lightweight and comfortable to wear. The sparkles leave an ever so slightly gritty feel only when you rub your lips together, but no where near enough to bother me at all, thank goodness. Unlike a lot of lip glosses that feel like they just sit on the surface the lips and don't actually meld well with the lips and help to nurture it, I actually find this particular one very moisturising and leaves my lips feeling, soft and supple - even after it comes off. Love.
Scent
I'm usually sensitive to scents. This one has a slight fruity scent, which I personally found quite pleasant. It's not really noticeable once applied.
